Do not click on links in any text message you may receive related to a refund. These smishing text messages are designed to look like messages from Amazon, but they are not. The links included in these text messages are most likely phishing links. Phishing links redirect people who click on them to fake websites that either steal their login credentials or bank card information. 

If you are tracking an Amazon return, log into the official Amazon website and track your return there on the website. Do not click on any unsolicited text messages or emails from Amazon. Generally, when Amazon sends its customers communications that include website links, those website links are tied to the Amazon.com domain. Amazon generally does not use unbranded website links like the example in the photo (https://t.co).
